@Lukas Lombardo No. If you are talking about the GOP being white supremacist, (once again) Cite Your Source.

@Lukas Lombardo When someone says that, or something similar, it gives me reason to think that person doesn't have any source(s) to back up what they are saying. I've been a Conservative Republican for some 40 years, I have rarely run into white supremacists or neo-nazis. On those occasions when I have run into them on line or in real life, they are tasken to the woodshed and rhetorically given a Stearn talking to and shown the door. You really need to broaden your reading.

@Lukas Lombardo Support The Confederacy? Not sure if you are aware if it, but it went away 156 years ago. And A good thing it did. Why do you ask that? If you are interested (IMO) The Best series of books on that war is Allan Nevins "The Ordeal Of The Union." Covers America from 1847 to 1865. Pricey but well worth the money. Your local library may have it.

@Lukas Lombardo Why is that? 1 word History. You have to preserve history the good & the bad. I'm an Unlicensed Non-Certified historian (that sounds A Lot classier than History Nut :-)), one of the things I've learned is the history of an era/war/whatever is A Lot more complicated than many people realize. On that war underlying it all was Slavery, but there was more than just that. One way I look at it is two different visions of America Hamilton's vision vs Jefferson's vision. Thing is right from the start of America people both North & South knew it was wrong. The problem is they didn't know how to fix it.

@metaljacket8128 Strange that he didn't answer. But then this is what we have come to expect.
