  1. Zhriris Gold "The Big Bang is never mentioned in the bible" A Christian could point to Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Given no one was around to watch (there being no time, space, matter) this is just as good an explanation as any, and much better than most. Have you ever considered That It Might Actually Be True? How would you say it happened?

Actually The Big Bang was uses a term of derision when Fr. Lemaître/Hubble 1st purposed it. Most people in the scientific community, Really did like the idea, for a number of reasons, such as it was always thought the universe was eternal had always existed, this went against everything they though is true. Then IF the universe had a beginning, How did it happen, and Maybe...just Maybe their was a creator. They are still trying to get around that one (Multiverse that sort of thing) It should be noted Fr. George Lemaître (you might want to check him out) He wrote a letter to the Pope stating we should equate his theory with Genesis. "Just because we cannot prove how creation developed doesn't mean this specific god has made it instead, in the era of gods we believed the earth was flat' Actually that is pretty much a myth. I see people saying this all the time. Where this myth started I don't know. Sailors knew the world was round, they would see another ship or the land slowly sink down. The mistake Ptolemy made was thinking the earth was a lot small than it is.
