@Lemur57 The Point being is NOT The Nobel Peace Prize has become a Joke (I pretty much agree BTW) But that particularly since the end of World War 2 the United Statyes Military has been The Greatest Force Of Peace in the world. “We have gone forth from our shores repeatedly over the last hundred years and we’ve done this as recently as the last year in Afghanistan and put wonderful young men and women at risk, many of whom have lost their lives, and we have asked for nothing except enough ground to bury them.” Colin Powell

@FranklyMyDearIDontGiveADamn "but they have also recently been tinkering in areas that have not been stabilizing" 3 questions that need to be asked and answered (no matter which side of this divide you're on) 1. What Do You Want? 2. How Do You Get It? (most importantly) 3. THEN WHAT HAPPENS? Point being no matter what is done, the Law Of Unintended Consequences applies. 2. examples 1. The invasion/liberation of Iraq. I don't believe the Bush administration seriously asked question #3. (Note: I still believe it was a Very Good Thing we did this, and the world is a better place with Saddam being dead.) 2. Bombing Libya. IMO question #3 Never Ever Occurred to the Obama administration. But then I don't think Foreign Affairs was something Obama really had much interest in.

@elijahhawkins3909 funded Al Queda And ISIS Source Please. BTW you are of course aware that this is the most peaceful time (fewest wars) in 6,000 years of recorded history. See Gapminder https://www.gapminder.org/tools/?from=world#$chart-type=bubbles World War I 1914-1918 19,174,335 World War II 1939 1945 70,000,000 Since then..nothing that league. One major reason the United States Military....bad for business.
