  6. You had a customer with approximately 90,000 miles without changing the oil on a Corolla. He was a salesman who I think drove carefully and probably mostly highway miles. This rich owner drove locally in s rough manor and did not care at all for this Lexus. In my opinion this car is worthless even with a used engine.

  8. My sister had a 1976 celica. Wrecked it 5 times and drive it off a 6 foot embankment and I bought it from her for $350 . It worked perfectly except for the wacky wheel alignment. Everything worked!!! A mini tank only it screamed at 50 mph with that 3 speed auto💕

  16. My experience shows me heavy towing or loads do not affect the tranny much if you drive it accordingly. I drove a 2010 Toyota Yaris 120,000 miles towing a trailer and carrying heavy tools and the transmission worked perfectly. I changed the fluid every 30,000 miles and drove it accordingly💪👍

  17. My father has an ‘07 Avalon. My parents went out one day and forgot something so my mother called me with what ever it was so I was waiting for them outside. My father made a u turn and I gave my mother the item through the window. As they attempted to leave a rubber bypass hose on the passenger side of the engine burst and I could see oil pouring out as the drove off slowly. I yelled stop and told my father to turn off the engine. God was again helping us and saving us from having a rebuilt engine block under recall.

  21. In that caddy I changed the left rear axle, 2 alternators, drilled out the vacuum choke , radiator and one window switch. 178,000 beautiful miles and the rear level control still worked along with the a/c!

  29. I don’t think dealers would spend the amount of time on certifications as AMD would. Scotty once checked out a certified car that was low a quart of oil👎 was this a simple overlook? Well then the Brooklyn Bridge is certified too👍

My first was a 1979 Corolla 4speed that revved high at 50 mph and had a lot of covered up rust with a new dark blue paint job. If I win I would like it in credit towards some day bringing my Tacoma to you as I live in New York 😊.

  46. Hi Amd you are the best👍 yes part of car care nut is treating your vehicle as it was designed for. The Lexus was designed for…please excuse me I love your show but designed for inclement weather not really off roading. Jose may have not bent the frame but he sure put excessive wear on that vehicle. This is why I basically do not buy used vehicles. I am a car car nut follower. My friend Mike believes you can do anything to a vehicle and just repair it or change a part and it will be perfect. He does not allow for signs of abuse like fatigued metal or stressed moving parts. Rattles and loose feel can be a tell tale sign a car had a tough life. Jose is fortunate you put your hands on his car. I look forward to some day bringing my car to your shop👍

  48. Hi AMD, the 2007 Avalon is much nicer than any ES 350. The Avalon has much more leg room, more HP, reclining rear seats, soft open covers for the information center and surround sound controls, I believe a slightly larger trunk while having all the amenities of the Lexus except maybe a heated steering wheel. What the Avalon does not have is the Lexus badge and higher price. Avalon owners are smart not showy👍 oh and the Avalon has the same drivetrain as the Lexus just tuned differently.
