Toyota was basically forced into this technology because they can’t risk being known for old technology. Toyota on one hand wins with dependable complicated engines unlike bmw and Mercedes’ but nevertheless I would not feel comfortable owing a tundra for a long period of time knowing all the systems under the hood. Yes a different truck but I’ll take a Tacoma 4 cylinder.
