  1.  @realestatemindset  yes i went through it. I bought my first house in 2006 after Hurricane Caterina for 120,000 and 2 years later houses in my neighborhood were selling for around 40,000- 75,000 in Louisiana. My house appraised for 60,000 after the crash of 2008. I was stuck with the house. I ended up letting it go back to the bank and messed my credit up for 7 years. October this year i will be eligible for a conventional loan again but i will wait until the prices are right.

  3.  @BeachSharkFishing  me too. I was going to buy again 2 years ago but only qualified for FHA so I've just been saving money. I will patiently wait for prices to be reasonable.

  4.  @realestatemindset  it was because my foreclosure hasn't been 7 years yet. My credit score is 740. October this year makes 7 years since the foreclosure then i can get conventional
