Not that it matters but we pronounce it Grenich. Vitally all place names that end with wihch are pronounced , ich. I think it was so people could laugh at strangers and foreigners when they got it wrong. A lot of out spelling is like that. You wisely dropped a lot of it as in colour to spit in our eye after revolution. Nothing stranger than folk! (& I don't mean the music lol, though that is strange too😊).
