Teachers teach because they are not capable of making the rubber meet the road and settle for a low secure income where they can feel smart talking down to kids. Some are great, most aren't. I was born in 1970 and at 5 we head a kid in our class with no shoes. Nothing was said. No police or anything. It was just accepted that his family was poor. I then realised how lucky I was, even though we had no carpets and an outside toilet. At least we were free and knew what species and sex we were. No nut allergies or lactose intolerant and not one death, as far as I know. Plus, i was hit with a stick every day for 5 years. They banned it the year l left. People are robotic NPCs nowadays. They have everything and yet they are more miserable than ever. War is something on TV to westerners now. Not for long!
