  1. You completely ignore the ending which is COMPLETELY different in the movie to the book. No happy ending in the book. Apart from the ending, their storys are practically the same. Also, the book is incredibly short and is virtually the entire narration etc of the movie. A dream to convert to a movie. I bet Paluniack argued for the origional ending then was blinded by cash and said, do what you like. BRILLIANT movie and book. My favourite author by far
