That was your decision when you signed the disto deal. Don't you want them to exploit your copyright and maximise your profits? Seems like reasonable business.

Compensate? Why would they compensate. The artists royalty rate and fees are described in the contract they sign. Isn't that the whole point of a record deal.

No it's not. Distro deals are not needed. Completely optional. "If pay is great". This shows how lots of you r willing to do things u don't value JUST for money 🥴. This is why u then complain n lack business knowledge @ZackAngelMusic

@hiphopheaven it's not theft. You literally sign up to the terms in the contract. Nothing about it is criminal so words like theft is not really appropriate

That's a terrible idea. We have jools Holland for real music fans. Top of the pops was a show setup by the majors to show off whatever was in the charts.

@davidhoultby9801 how would TOTP disarm them tho. The songs on TOTP was songs in the charts and the charts are literally an orchestration by the majors to compete against each other. No kid is watching live TV anyway. Only people over 50 watch TV.
