  1. rigid people have a fear of the unknown hence why they try to constantly control their environment. its a result of a grandoise fantasy, usually subconscious and compartmentalised. The rigid person finds emotional regulation in their fantasy of perfectionism and control. A rigid person may fabricate the truth in order for reality to align with the fantasy in their head.

  2. 19:00 lack of empathy doesnt imply lack of morals or intent to cause harm to others. people tend to correlate the 2. someone who is clinically depressed technically lacks empathy. anyone who is constantly in their own head (grandiose or depressed) does not have the capacity to empathise. most will have 'emotive' empathy but do not have 'cognitive' empathy and therefore do not act on it. ted bundy and dictators like Hitler was able to do what they did because they was what we call the 'dark tetrad personality'. which includes narcissism, psychopathy, machiavellianism and sadism. people with dark tetrad personality are not common at all.
