  2.  @CRM-114  people mainly become educated through reading. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. You also don't need to read a full book to be educated about the moral of the story. It's called reading and watching summaries. I have a whole playlist of summaries of books I haven't read yet. Yet I still know what the book is about. Don't you know what summaries are?

  3.  @CRM-114  also that would put the honus on you. If you claim to be educated and the people around you are not then it's sounds like you're doing a poor job influencing others and if you're the smartest/ most educated in the room then it says more about you than them. Try harder

  4.  @CRM-114  "summaries are always a vast oversimplification" Yes that's the point. Use common sense. One reads a summary before purchasing a book. Im still yet to read the book how to win friends and influence people, yet I've watched 3 in depth summaries and know each chapters contents. Well done for understanding what the word summary means.

  5.  @CRM-114  no complex book can be reduced to a simple moral of the story. Well yes it can. Maybe you should read some non fiction. Not everyone is reading old russian novels.
