  1. Outside of vegan dressy shoes for work ($99 from the brand Vance on zappos), I try not to spend a lot on shoes ($50-$60) since I do tend to wear them until they break. It would be interesting if a shoe company did some kind of end of life return program what Apple is doing with old iPhones where they are dismantled and shredded/melted down to be reused somehow.
