  1. I believe if the Conservatives had a half-way decent replacement ready, then I believe Boris would have not survived the no-confidence vote last month. I also believe unlike May, Boris is too stubborn (or stupid) to resign.

  2. @Jay apparently Gove called on Johnson to resign, and Johnson sacked him in retaliation

  3. @Jay he lost seats last time, he could lose more because of public backlash to all the crap he’s been involved with.
