  2. No one is calling for people to “Give up” anything… it’s a fallacy pushed by the NRA to scare you into screaming “NO!” to any new restrictions on firearms. What is wrong with universal background checks if you’re a law abiding citizen? What’s wrong with red flags for mentally ill people? Why do teenagers that can’t drink beer legally need high powered semi-auto rifles? I’m not saying I have the answers, but we do need to be asking these questions in a RATIONAL manner.
