  2.  @1888CHAD8881  Trump lied his ass off at every single one of them, and usually ignored serious questions with “I don’t want to talk to you you are fake news.” Once the pandemic hit he used them to campaign for re-election, or pedal weird “cures.”

COVAX could only work if all nations signed on and merged their previous contracts with the medical companies (most of the first world countries) and it’s only now that we’re seeing just how much of an imbalance there is. The US just sold off their Astra-Zeneca doses because we’re not going to use them.
