  1.  @kurtpunchesthings2411  jet fuel burned off quickly, but it set everything else inside on fire. The fire department couldn’t get up there to put out that fire. You heat up steel enough and it loses strength, well before it melts.

  3. Building 7 had a ConEd substation inside (new one does as well) it had a huge tank of diesel fuel. After the towers collapsed, the fdny ordered everyone away from the site, so building 7 was left to burn for hours. Steel doesn’t need to melt all the way to weaken, just get soft until it loses strength.

  6. I remember the photo of the guy, but they put in the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man instead of a plane. It was the wrong type of plane anyway. Plus the observation deck opened at 9am, after the first attack.
