The original Obama plan that started this case called for a certain number of coal plants to be closed by 2030… in the LONG time it took to get this case to this decision, all the plants that were supposed to close in 2030, closed ALREADY! (or were converted to Natural Gas because of market forces making coal unsustainable.) Still, we should not have a branch of government that is unelected and stays in power for life. All levels of government need a mandatory retirement age… 65 or 70 works. (And suddenly at least half of DC is out.)
