The governor of Connecticut had a great point, someone asked him about a mask mandate, and he said, “It didn’t help in New York.” Obviously all the ideas that may have helped quash the numbers before aren’t working now. (Doesn’t help that the quality of the masks seems to be going downhill, at least the ones my job buys… feels loose on my nose and fogs over my glasses much easier than before, which means it’s not sealing.)

  2.  @leeturnbull2082  there’s no way we would have done nothing, humans are panicky creatures, it’s our survival instincts trying to keep us alive. (Some are better at controlling, or hiding it, than others). Hopefully by February the omicron wave (sounds like something from Star Trek) will be trailing off and life can get back to something akin to normal.
