  1. Echo chamber effect, and it’s a false narrative that Facebook will only show you liberal stuff, it would only do that if you’ve been actively looking for it. Same with conservative stuff, if you’ve been looking for that, Facebook will show you more because it thinks, “oh, this is what they are interested in, I’ll show them more of this, so they’ll stay on Facebook, and give us all that sweet ad revenue.” (If you were looking up conservative stuff, and Facebook started showing you liberal stuff instead, you’d get mad and just go to another website.)
