May 9 is WW2 Victory Day in Russia, they want this war to be over by then. I’m sure they have plenty of excuses and lots of lies planned to cover over any further defeats. “Ummm, yeah we won, but umm it’s dangerous to go there so we’re condoning of Ukraine until we can clean up… might be a while.”
