OPEC is taking full advantage with these high prices to make up all the profits they’ve missed out on over the last 2 years of COVID with lockdowns and less driving being done as people worked from home worldwide. The time to end our dependence on fossil fuels was 20 years ago when Al Gore warned us all. We ignored him and now we’re screwed.

  2. Yeah, Russian oil imports are less than 5% of all US oil imports. EU needs at least 9 months to a year to stop needing Russian oil and maybe natural gas… Putin ain’t sweating this yet. It’s time to stop being dependent on fossil fuels… and nations like Russia and Saudi Arabia run by brutal dictators.
