  1. Global population “replacement rate” is slowing and at some point in the future it will drop below that rate, meaning there will be less people. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it reduces the strain on resources. What may be bad though, more people will flee from rural areas into cities, and then how do we grow enough food for everyone. Yes urban farms are a thing, but not at the scale needed to feed millions of people.
