  3.  @nikodavor5480  actually in New York State is paid for from payroll taxes. It can be used for birth/adoption of a child, personal illness or family illness.

  4.  @TexZenMaster  in my state paid family leave is a small deduction from my paycheck, so you have to work to get it.
