  1.  @lesussie2237  most banana varieties can’t survive the long trip to those markets… there was a better (and apparently tastier) variety but a parasite wiped it out, so we got stuck with Cavendish.

  2. The US needs to recognize a sovereign Taiwan (stop calling yourselves China guys… the mainland is no longer yours.) Heck, the entire world should recognize them… will China fight everyone over it, risk becoming a hermit kingdom? I don’t think they can afford it!
