If it’s any consolation Star Wars fans, JJ Abrams kind of wrecked Star Trek first... heck, he basically oversaw the rehashing of Wrath of Khan for Into Darkness (which foreshadowed TFA rehashing ANH! (And the originals of both are still superior!)) A least he didn’t bring back Jar Jar.
