  1. Everything religion makes up about death, after death, end of the world etc, is all there to protect believers from an even more horrific possibility: this is it. We only get one shot at living a life, then it’s nothing… Even the universe may end up as a vast nothing (via heat death) trillions of years from now (and long after humanity is gone.) Even TIME will stop (photons slow down and stop in near absolute zero conditions, and in physics the time parameter requires movement from a to b, if all the photons are frozen in place, time is irrelevant.)
