  1. You are a product on social media, being sold to advertisers. If you said something an advertiser wouldn't like, they wouldn't give their money to facebook, twitter, etc. It's not censorship, it's keeping things "family friendly" for money.

  2.  @spoonbendingspacemonkey  right, but private companies are not required to file the 1st Amendment, that only keeps government from stifling speech. And even that has a limit. (No yelling “Fire” in a crowded theater to cause a panic.)
