  1. “Zombie” was written because that bombing resulted in the deaths of 2 little boys, one suffered for days in hospital before dying in his father’s arms. They were out buying cards for Mother’s Day. That’s why the in video parts where Delores has 2 little boys with her under the cross. She couldn’t bear to hear that children were caught up in something so horrible.
