He was in a pretty heartbreaking episode of “Fringe” as a guy who’s brilliant wife suffered from Alzheimer’s, but he used her work to build a time machine that would allow him to build a bubble of time around their house in the past when she wasn’t suffering from the worst effects (unfortunately it was unstable and was wreaking havoc all around Boston by shifting random objects through time.)
