Star Trek: Into Darkness- we find out that instead of a new character and story, the entire movie is just a rehash of Star Trek II with four words: “My name is, Khan.” 🙄 Sure, the big sacrifice was to have Kirk be the one to fix the warp drive instead of Spock, but to have him come back from the dead without any consequences only via Khan’s “magic” blood, that’s just cheating. (At least Spock had to be exposed to the Genesis wave, and have his mind pulled out of Dr. McCoy’s head, and that took another film to do, and Spock wasn’t quite himself again until Star Trek V, you know with being dead and having his mind stored in a human’s brain for a while... that’s a lot to process).
