@SooHooSamaSito yep, supposedly during the time between being crucified and the resurrection he teleported to the future upstate New York, helped the local natives and hid gold plates and a pair of glasses with rocks instead of lenses so Smith could read the “Egyptian hieroglyphics” on them. You can’t make this stuff up... but Smith sure did!

Las Vegas means “the meadow” in Spanish... yeah... no meadows there now. Edit: Hughes eventually moved out of the Desert Inn... he had taken over the entire top floor, secretly installed an express elevator from outside to that floor (that was problematic during the demolition of that resort as it wasn’t on the blueprints!), and apparently never opened any of the drapes as the window facing side of them were bleached white by the sun.
