@Khangel king George III went mad, but it made him retreat into seclusion, by the end of his life he was blind, deaf, talking nonsense and unable to walk. Plus he had no idea what was going on, didn’t realize his wife and one of his sons had passed away, or that he was king of Hanover as well as the UK. They put his son in charge as Prince Regent for the last years of his life.
