  1. Mythbusters did a whole episode on microwaves. Jamie thought he could make a “super” microwave by pulling the guts out of four of them and installing them into the walls of a box he made. It sounded menacing (and scared Adam away), but it actually was much weaker than a normal microwave (it took forever to boil a cup of water.)

  2.  @Gojiro7  I’m pretty sure there’s really only one factory making microwaves, they just put on different face plates for different brands.
