Not just gerrymandering, every 10 years they run a Census to count how many people live here, they use that information to not only redraw the district maps, but if you lose or gain population, you lose or gain a seat in the House of Representatives. This year, Trump, via the Supreme Court, inexplicably ended the Census a month early (he used the virus as an excuse, despite the fact that the Census was paused for 2 months in the spring, meaning they had to do 11 months of work in only 8! There’s a very good chance of an undercount that will alter the House for the next 10 years... how so remains to be seen, but it’s not good.
