  1. The Trump tax cuts gave the best example: for many companies the only “trickle” given to employees were one time bonuses. They didn’t rush out to expand their payroll, or give permanent raises. The vast majority took that money and bought back stocks… they didn’t return that money into the economy, they hoarded it like Smaug.
