  1. Some now argue that a hard sea wall will cause more erosion and problems then a natural buffer like a barrier island, or a patch of reeds. (Though I heard this in regards to major coastal storms here on the Atlantic seaboard. Not sure if you have that problem in Vancouver.)

  3. All the CW superhero shows kind of gave up on hiding those buildings at some point or another (especially Supergirl after they moved out of Los Angeles for the second season.)
