The real secret of the Pyramids is what is underneath. The Great Pyramid was constructed on an even older site. The Egyptian Gov, the US gov & the British Gov know a lot more about that area than they want us to know they know. The question is WHY the secrecy?

@emeraldamb4771 There is a massive underground complex & tunnels going out under the Plateau as well as down into the earth probably leading to other underground chambers. Some of them down far enough are filled with water.

@armageddon1403 They were not Sumerian texts. They are alleged to be the texts of Thoth. They do not appear until the mid ages & in medieval Europe. They have NEVER appeared in ANY middle eastern caches ANYWHERE in Mesopotamia or Egypt.

@abelbabel8484 Just as we had fictional books of Enoch we have fictional books from the same period about Thoth. Its no different. People were being creative 900 years ago just as they are now. We didn't invent it.

@abelbabel8484 Ok, you're talking about the 2nd definition & app. of Mythology. That's a valid observation. But we have a good idea of the provenance of those works & also you must note that NO ONE thought these were works of fiction until very recently. Spiderman is a poor analogue. I'd scratch that off & never bring it up again.

@armageddon1403 I make claims based off what has been found & not found in the classical record. I can show you the gap in time & Civ. between the period when Thoth was a revered god pre dynastic-the rule through the Ptolemys. He is mentioned in the book of the dead & the pyramid texts. The book the european fictional emerald tablets is based off of is from the Gr-Rmn period just as Enoch II & III were modern forgeries based off Enoch I & a few others.
