The most beautiful sight in the world, your baby asleep in the arms of his mother...😊 The cabin is toasty, thanks to your diligence, everyone will be comfortable. Love what you're doing 😊

You can build a cabin the quickest of anyone I watch..😂 Simple, functional, and great looking too!😊 Love what you're doing 😊
108
Man, you build cabins like I mow the grass, weekly...😂😅 You're doing an awesome job! Love what you're doing 😊
79
With a beautiful wife, a faithful dog, ice shanty, and brats on a grill, who needs fish...lol 😂😅 Sorry ya'll didn't tear em up, but it's a great way to spend free time. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
50
The logs are looking sweet, so straight and tall. You've done an awesome job with the other cabins. This one will be special. Love what ya'll are doing 😊

Your strapping setup is on point, it looks strange to some because strapping is usually not done on the exterior most beam. A walk-around porch will definitely make it look better, but your strap job is great. Love what you're doing 😊
37
The pumphouse turned out great! Love how you can just go get materials as needed. If there's a design change, no problem, just cut more logs...lol 😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
36
Thank you to your dad for helping with this project! It's not fun task to tackle bags of concrete by yourself, it's always nice to spread the misery around...lol 😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
34
Ya'll have definitely been an inspiration to more than a few people, sharing your life's experiences and adventures. It's great that you have the life you want and you're doing it the way you want to. Thanks for taking me along for the ride! Love ya'll ❤️
26
I saw ya build it, but I always enjoy the recaps and tours. The center wall turned out great, and dividing the loft into two bedrooms would be a great idea. Love what you're doing ❤️
26
You're basically setup for a larger solar setup, or power bank now, like you stated, they're more affordable and can do more. The meat chickens definitely come in handy, a great source of meals for a long time. Cierra looks like she's getting along fine, hope all is well! Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
21
You've made a valid point about not worrying about the waterlines freezing while gone, if you don't have them, they don't freeze...lol Or the TV, mostly we don't need those either. Congratulations on the deer harvest, and legal deer is a big deer if it fills a freezer. Fingers crossed Ciera fills her tag as well, more meat to eat. Love what you're doing ❤️
20
Loved when you went ham on the door like Jason, fitting for the Halloween season...lol It turned out really nice, and the "batten" straps add a touch of flair! Hoping Cierra is doing well, love what you're doing ❤️
19
Definitely sorry to hear about the loss of your girls, sounded like the work of a mink. Hopefully you'll be able to get started again with more chickens in the near future, but the bathhouse is going to be awesome for the two of you. Fingers crossed for your future ventures, sounds like you could be onto something great! Love what you're doing ❤️
18
That's an awesome summarization of ya'lls life in the woods! I'm sure it makes alot of people envious with the joy and happiness ya'll have without worries of a normal existence...lol Love ya'll ❤️
17
Simple is usually best. The build is coming along nicely, even at $125. Livable, absolutely, it offers even now what everyone needs, shelter. Great job! Can't wait for more!
16
Sorry about the loss of the chickens, raccoons are deviously smart at finding ways into coops. The window swap was easy peasy..😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
16
Great idea with the garden beds using logs. Simple, basic, and easy to assemble, all natural materials. Alot of ppl overthink those things, making them way complicated. I like ya'lls style, busy with projects, explaining as you go, and basic. Love ya'll ❤️
16
Firewood box looks great the way it is, simple and rustic. Did I read the thermometer right, -35 F outside, and 68 F inside? If so, your wood stove is doing an awesome job! The stove door burn, it happens occasionally, not always on the neck, but it happens. Lol Love what you're doing ❤️
15
Great job with the fencing, it should keep out the 4 legged predators anyways. Netting for the roof will keep aerial attacks to a minimum as well. You already know all this. Love what you're doing 😊
15
Relaxing? I'm not sure if sub zero temperatures, forging a path in 2' of snow, melting snow for water on the stove, gathering and chopping dead wood for firewood, and collecting eggs and putting out bedding for the chickens qualifies as "relaxing"... lol 😆 Love what you're doing ❤️
15
Prayers for Cierra and her team of healthcare professionals for a successful surgery and quick, but healthy recovery 🙏! Loving that you have your chickens trained to jump into the pot...lol Love what you're doing ❤️
15
Your "typical" would be an awesome day! I enjoy watching your videos and builds, looking forward to seeing the new place! Love ya'll ❤️
14
Great trip into the field! Fresh fish for dinner, without the dishes, and a beautiful wife and sunset. What more could you ask for. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
14
The island really looks good! Ya'll are doing a great job with the build. I love the stone job you did on the fireplace, and finishing it off with metal set it off nicely! 👍
14
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Kyle, Sierra, and Skeeter! I'm hoping the winter weather is kind to ya'll this year, and look forward to the new cabin build. Love what you're doing 😊
13
The workshop/man cave is coming along nicely! The shelving you're putt8ng on the wall will come in handy. It's still a great place to retreat, even though it's negative outside...lol Awesome job Kyle! Love what you're doing ❤️
12
Awesome build! You're right, it is probably the simplest method to build with, no rocket scientist needed... Just a strong back and arms! Great stuff 👏
12
Two logs up, and I see your vision. It'll be a great cabin, one that will serve you and Cierra well, last ya'll a long time. Love the simple log sets and spikes. Maybe a slightly larger sledge to not bounce off the spikes? Love what you're doing 😊
12
Good question, but if they stay in the coop with the doors closed, they create plenty of heat. And if you put enough food and water in there, they usually do fine, as long as there's not like 30 of them..lol
12
Love it when ya'll take day trips, or two, it shows the diversity of your other cabins and surrounding area. Starting a new build will be a hoot to watch, I enjoy the simplicity of your cabins, yet ruggedness. Love what you're doing ❤️
11
Beautiful country there, I can see why you have multiple locations to season at. I didn't like the loft setup there either, it was imo, out of place and I believe hard to negotiate. Love what you're doing ❤️
11
How awesome is that! To be able to launch a canoe, fish for a couple of hours, and eat great meals. Loving it!😂😊
10
The winter camping can be rough on the back, the sleeping bag looked cozy..lol It's awesome that you and Skeeter can get outdoors and explore so many things together, especially when he's young and in training. Cierra is very special to have men in her life like ya'll, and you are blessed with her for her unselfishness. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
10
The walk in the woods reminded me of Wisconsin, even down to the lake. Its a beautiful area ya'll are homesteading, great choice. Deer season will be productive for ya'll, i can see the big ones hanging already...lol 😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
10
The chinking turned out really nice, it'll help bunches to keep the cold out in winter. The bed loft is a great idea, keeping floor space to a maximum moving the woodbox outside as well. Love what you're doing ❤️
10
It's an awesome way to be a "bachelor" for a few days! I think it's great that you didn't leave the chickens behind, most would've, but you did what you wanted to do and accepted that responsibility. Kudos!! The loggers know your car? Did you buy property from the people they're logging for, or! You mentioned another cabin build. Love ya'll ❤
9
Great summary of what you've done and how you've done it. The cabins you've built are simple and fantastic! You've given great explanations while building them and why you do things. I compare you and your videos to Bushradical, he's great at explaining while building too. Love ya'll ❤
9
You're doing a great job with the build, don't ruin it with a mullet...lol Haha. I think a log cabin workshop would be awesome, remember to finish one project before proceeding with another though.
9
Looked like ya'll had an awesome time in the woods, great to take some time away from the grind..lol 😂 Skeeter sure gets excited when he's out scouting around, he's a good boy. Looking forward to seeing you peel logs, not really..lol 😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
9
Like you said, test all the equipment before a big trip, to make sure it functions properly. It'd be like taking a rifle on a far away hunt, without checking it out. Love what you're doing ❤️
9
Happy to see Cierra and Stanley doing well. You're the proud papa, doing so much to better yalls lives. Great to see you're able to get materials to the new cabin. Love what ya'll are doing ❤
8
That was a great snag on a four wheeler, they're getting all to rare as the people who own them, don't want to sell them. The fire lit cabin from the outside at night does look inviting, and Cierra looks like she's healing well shown by her axe wielding capabilities..lol 😂😅 Love ya'll ❤️
8
Wow! Walls and flooring are spot on! Loving the rough cut lumber as wall coverings, I'm betting with time and a planer, it'd be just as beautiful on the floors as well. Youre definitely going in the right direction. Love what ya'll are doing 😊
8
Sorry for the lack of deer, you definitely put your time in there. Weather was just starting to get right too, snow. Your journey reminds me of my childhood in Wisconsin. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
8
It's awesome that ya'll are wanting to build a larger log home, but I have just one question. It's none of my business, I've done things in my life that was questioned at the time, but why build bigger? Imo, the cabin ya'll live in would be a perfect size, I'm just curious. The new woodshed, outhouse, well, everything that's been done recently to improve ya'lls life, will have to be done again. Love what ya'll are doing 😊
8
You've managed to create living space/workspace with little or nothing, not much money invested, yet a work of art! Look forward to all your builds!
8
The cabin transformation looks awesome! The projected changes will be great as well. The plywood on the floors looks great, it'll be interesting to see the longevity of it. Love what ya'll are doing ❤
7
Never a dull moment...😂😅 Im glad the family is well, and winter is almost over for ya'll 😊 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
7
The property is cleaning up nicely. Ya'll are always busy with one thing or another. It'll be an interesting build with steel beams and such for the foundation. Looking forward to seeing it. Love what ya'll are doing 😊
