If trump gets acquitted (which is most likely) he'll run a third party campaign and hull in voters from the GOP, ultimately weakening it as Trumps new patriot party has no chance whatsoever but he'll probably get a state conviction.

  6.  @pyramidhead8659  I'm not sure about the US or the entire world for that matter but what does matter is that trump will have the ability to start a third party and will draw heavily from the GOP well, as well as pushing more subtle Republicans left, thus fracturing the party as a whole and renderings them as insignificant. Either way, it's a win/win.
