Ah Deutsche bank... those germans just love gas for some reason, a while ago they even had special wehicles with gas. Some sorts of "wagens" or so, now they need it for EVs - does that also make them "gasen" of sorts or no?

@josef-peterroemer6235 I was referencing ecological transformation in Germany. Now every "ecological" german car factory has few natural gas power plants (the same goes with the rest of industries). Remaining carbon emisions they are buying as green certificates. On paper it might appear green, but when you look that all that money that Germany pays goes to natural monopolist without any limitations on later expenditure of beneficiary. It is not a secret that russians were building their militarised dictatorship with fascist state propaganda all these years. I know that US were using our situation in Ukraine to promote their agenda on Europe and especially Germany, but it only made things worse, it desensitized other countries in any attempts to help us earlier. Ok, maybe it's too much on my side to compare eco-friendly EVs with trucks full of zyklon, but my argument is that it is the same kind of fault in policy made earlier. Maybe it wasn't much, only 7.4 million ukrainians died in ww2, but when you hear some british minister tells that we need 3 to 4 years in order to break russian military machine it doesn't bring any hope either. The people are simple, we won't remember the names of actual politics who were behind the wrong decisions it would be just russians. As I know from my grandma's stories that it was germans with flamethrowers burning down their house and all food reserves (some of the kids almost died from hunger) it was german mines which burned my grandpa's house. I don't want to blame germans or russians in our problems, but I really think that it's everyone's fault.

@cy-one I understand the advantages of gas over other fossil fuels and also am well aware of ecological threats of defrosting the permafrost due to global warming in Siberia. At the same time it was very concerning when you see german kanzler (with the name of TMNT villain) deepened his country's dependance on natural gas and after some time becomes head of board of directors in one big russian gas company (majority of which is state owned). Since russian invasion in 2014 german diplomats weren't even trying to solve a conflict, but only to continue further deepening their interaction with russia. Why nobody in germany seems to not understand that they were only financing the terrorists all this time. Why don't they see that there is a straight connection between syrian refugee crysis, and russian advances in Syria. Every time when germany wanted to reconsider their gas sources - new waves of refugees. There was always a reason why they all (refugees) wanted to go specifically to germany. Even this latest wave of migrants from Iraq which stuck on polish border - they all had an instruction to specifically go to germany exactly when the future of nordstream2 was decided. Isn't it clear that it is a bad idea to agree on terms of blackmailer or even work with someone who does that. Thanks for changing your mind a little in the end, but it's already too late. Natural gas powered cars aren't that ecological, they are a lot worse in nitrous oxides emissions than the petrol ones. It's main use lies in electricity production and chemical industry, where it's much easier to filter out the exhaust. Seriously though, IMF never give us money unless we reform something in our economy or even in our justice system. On the other hand Germany was always eager to finance military of one authoritarian dictatorship. If you think what they did in Grozny or Aleppo was fine (and all the rest of their military crimes and acts of state terrorism) - then you might be right, gas is ok then.
