  1. Stalin was actually from that region, he is osetian from South Osetia (now part of Georgia currently under russian occupation). His biography was somewhat set in Baku, where he was the most ruthless criminal and leader of a gang which performed all of the horrific things with locals, foreign businessmen and russian authorities and banks. Only later he joined communists and when came to power he continued doing all what he did in Baku, but on a way larger scale and became even more extreme.
