What and why does S Korea import from Japan if they are 2nd class? What political system is different in S K and JP in terms of democracy? Sorry too many questions. (1) According to IMF, World Bank and CIA statistics, JP GDP per capta PPP is higher than that of SK. (2) According to JP volunteer's group's research, the highest radioactive soil in Tokyo read 3700 bq/kg in 2020 which is safe for agriculture. (3) According to Korea import record, the 1st import good from Japan is semiconductor equipment, 2nd is semiconductor itself, and 3rd is oil chemical materials. None of them are replaceable and small industry. (4) GHQ allowed Japan to establish many political parties. The current major political party was established in 1955, 3 years after GHQ left the country. (5) Air pollution is Seoul is worse than that of Tokyo. (6) JP was a founding member of G7 in 1975. SK has been a developing country until 2019 the last year.

  18. @Another Truth Wrong. The issue of comfort women became a big movement in S Korea in 1990’s. It was not included in the basic treaty of 1965. That’s why Japan paid approx 8 million usd and signed on agreement in 2015. Learn history before you yell. Only Japanese don’t know Japanese history.

  20. @Another Truth Think before you speak. The basic treaty says that all disputes between Korea and Japan in 1965 were settled. It doesn’t say all disputes in the future will be settle by the treaty. The issue of comfort women was settled by the agreement in 2015, not in 1965.

  23. Jiwon Kim Japan officially apologized more than 10times and paid 1billion yen for compensation for comfort women. S Korea agreed that the issue of comfort women was solved. They also agreed not to blame Japan in public anymore and will work to remove the comfort women statue. In my opinion, S Korea should do what they promised. Pay the compensation to comfort women. Stop blaming Japan. And remove the statue.
