  5.  @sagichdirdochnicht4653  I understand reunion was painful. German economy suffered for 30 years. But Germany has history of 3000 years. 30 years is nothing in the stream of history. So is Korea. Reunification will be even more pailful yet will happen.

  6.  @sagichdirdochnicht4653  I totally agree that Korean reunification would be much tougher than German. Yet I think it would be nothing more than "painful". S Korea in 1953 neither had any infrastructure. It was one of the poorest countries with hungry people. Now, only after 70 years, it is 12th economic power. I am not looking at next year but the big stream of history. It is a destiny like Goryeo unified Korean peninsula. Once happened will happen again.

  7.  @sagichdirdochnicht4653  Half agree. Yes it will be a slow process and Kim family must go down. Most probably by coup or revolution not by war. But North can build infrastructure AFTER reunification. North is rich in mineral resources and tourism resources such as Mt Paektu and Mt Kumgang. South, on the other hand, has heavy industrial equipment, construction, and development industries that would help them and accelerate the process faster. Germany and Austria is a bad example. They had a chance to unify but unfortunately under Nazi Germany. It was like North Korea takes over South.
