  1. The "fascist" argument is so stupid because Le Corbusier, the darling of Modernists, was an actual fascist. The fascists were highly involved in the Modernist movement until the late 1930s. The first limited-access highways in the world were built by the fascists, all in a Modern style, and Terragni's "Fascist House" in Como is quintessentially Modern in style.
