  72.  @toughgiraffe5865  let me help you then. :) "Step forward: we hear That you are a good man. You cannot be bought, but the lightning Which strikes the house, also Cannot be bought. You hold to what you said. But what did you say? You are honest, you say your opinion. Which opinion? You are brave. Against whom? You are wise. For whom? You do not consider your personal advantages. Whose advantages do you consider then? You are a good friend. Are you also a good friend of the good people? Hear us then: we know. You are our enemy. This is why we shall Now put you in front of a wall. But in consideration of your merits and good qualities We shall put you in front of a good wall and shoot you With a good bullet from a good gun and bury you With a good shovel in the good earth." It's entitled, "interigation of the good" and at the end, the speaker is shot. The person's face, is a combination of world leaders, (meant to trigger those who have a bias one way or another). It is a question, for those who self proclaim as "good" or being "better than". "Are you also a good friend, to the good people?" Do you take sides? Do you just hear what you need to to justify your feelings? Or are you actually unbiased and support who is good and right regardless?? "You say your opinion, what opinion?" "You are brave, against whom?" "You are wise, for whom?" Who are you being brave against? Who is it you are being wise for? Do you know? Or is it just a fantasy in your mind, because thinking about the full truth is difficult?

  155. @Mary Antonio it's not everyone else's fault you don't understand nuance and took Dr. Faucis words out of context. You like many others where spoon fed half truths and incomplete quotes and are now totting them around like "experts" when you probably can't even program a oven clock. You don't understand the difference between an airisol and something that is air born. You don't understand why fauci made his remarks. You don't understand how a curve works during a pandemic. There is a false corolation between mandates and virus numbers, because of the exponential nature of such an outbreak. If you don't understand what exponential means, then you don't have any room to talk. Faucis words was a warning that masks on their own won't stop the virus because of the exponential threat the virus posseses. You have to follow it up with social distancing and self quarantines. Which we didn't do, and idiots like you took his words out of context then to justify not wearing a mask. He was simply saying that it's the first step, but not the only or last step you should take, and we would flatten that curve that way. Not prevent it outright. You're smart enough to understand this. But you choose not to because you'd rather double down on what you've already been spoon fed to believe than admit you could be wrong about something. And worse of all, you pretend to be sure of yourself, and you haven't even done the bare minimum to research it. All you've done is found a way to make your ignorance look credible based on a few quotes and biases. You can't say anything else, because you don't have any argument outside of that.

  299.  Fake Theory  you don't really care about people being called names. You say you do because it feels like taking the high road after being called out for calling people you never met hateful. As for dehumanizing fellow Americans, people have done far worse to one another over far less. You don't care so much about that as you care the people being poked fun at happen to align with your ideologies. But, if I may, let's say you are right and people are purposefully misleading one another. Wouldn't the responsible thing to do, if you had the correct information, to share that information? How selfish do you have to be to have all of the answers, then sit back and smirk saying "told ya so." Like, if you understand what is proper to do, why sit on your hands and turn up the beast pretending doing nothing in the face of misinformation is the right answer? Because, again, using Occam's razor, our best answers seem to be leaning towards effort, not stagnation. So if what is considered to be the best course of action (which is appropriately fitting masks, vaccines, and social distancing.) Is being denied as helpful, then surely you have a better and safer alternative? Come on now, don't tell me you have all the answers and have been holding out on the world this whole time? Let me guess, because ideas have people, people don't have ideas? Does that mean you're ideas are not your own and you are incapable of coming up with a unique thought too? I play dumb, but I understand what it means, it means someone of importance and persuasion gives an idea force. But I digress, what is your alternative solution and what is its documented effectiveness? Is it to do nothing and let herd immunity take over? Because we've seen the results of that in other nations. So, please, if you are so informed, and have the best answer for us, can you start a movement and become a leader for the people? Or are you waiting for someone with more charisma than yourself to Cary that torch of insight?
