Indeed, i mean the original dark souls goes by that idea, or similar, and even the souls saga go for it, i mean i was watching a video saying how the souls saga is dying because its own sucess, a guy compare the gameplay of the original demon souls with elden ring, and the new games are more, about dodge roll than actually having nice mecanics, or how they add anime bs on a viking and norse mithology game, all because they need to increase. And now thinking in mi own analogy, anime bs, anime is passing the same anime is so drunk in its own sucess all anime want to be the new DBZ, or bleach or one piece, like anime didint exist before that, and drown everithing in fanservice, and acction and drama and edgy. Is like everithing is you have a sucess and instead of learning and slowly work and craft a masterpiece and work a variety of flavors is, o no these is the popular thing add that.
