I remember a movie of Hayao Miyasaki sorry if i butcher the name, witch delivery service, that talks the same idea, when something we start loving, becomes our profession and it lost the magick, we no longer love it, and it becomes mundane. I havent see the movie, but the picture of the main chef younger, i dont know the context but seen yourself younger, smiling and happy, and see you in the moment and see how was before and after, yes you have more money and power but you are not happy, and how a profesion lost its magick
