My first long term Majid, where I reverted was run by a certain ethnic group, which I am not part of. After three years there, one of that group complained about me, while I was volunteering and donating food for the Ramadan Iftar program last year. She complained to three workers/administrators at the Majid, who all realized she had issues and when she saw I was still there volunteering, she went to the head administrator, who then asked me to leave until after Ramadan, to please her. I could have argued with him as the Majid is not his house, but as I had spent so much time and money on that Masjid, I decided I deserved better and never returned.
I have attended other Masjids, pretty much only for Jummah since then, but found similar mosques run pretty much by race, so I only go for Jummah and stopped volunteering many months ago and thanks to this plague, haven't been back to any Masjid since.
Insha'Allah I intend to make Hijra to Malaysia once they open their border and hope I will be better received as an "outsider" there than I was here.
One of the things I always loved about Islam, is that unlike the churches I used to attend, the worshipers were so diverse. I never saw a German mosque, chinese mosque, African mosque, Russian mosque, Mexican mosque...like I did with churches, but unfortunately, the owners/administrators do see race and that's always evident to me when I see the homogeneous staff in every Masjid. Very sad.

@MuhammadHosny0 Thank you Akhi. Sadly, as a Caucasian male, my western country was fantastic as an unbeliever as not only is every type of sin freely available, but almost all are legal. But as a Muslim and father, this is no place to raise a child.
I have been to many "Islamic" countries, but only Malaysia seems appropriate. I visited Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, saudi, Malaysia and Turkey as well as non Muslim countries including Spain, Italy, Greece, Malta, china, Cuba, Canada, amerikkka, Mexico and likely others I don't recall at the moment, and after Malaysia, my next favourite country was Cuba. But Cuba has few Muslims and outside of Havana, I think only a handful of Masjids.
Sadly, aside from Turkey, I don't think any "Islamic" county will ever allow me or my children to become citizens. I think that's why so many people prefer to go to amerikkka, Canada and some European countries.
