The civilian casualty ratio in Gaza is hundreds of times higher than for the conflict in Ukraine.

@awpetersen5909 Israel has killed many civilians, including aid workers, journalists and hostages. More than 20,000 Palestinians have lost their lives (mostly women and children).
7
@awpetersen5909 Approximately half of Gaza's population is under 18

@awpetersen5909 According to Euro-Med Monitor, the civilian casualty ratio in Gaza is 9:1 (9 out of 10 deaths in Gaza are civilian deaths). Ukraine estimated casualties: combatant casualties 500,000?, civilian casualties: approximately 10,000 (approximately 1 out of 51 deaths in Ukraine are civilian deaths)

@awpetersen5909 Israel dropped more than 29,000 bombs on Gaza. Indiscriminate attacks are prohibited by the Geneva Conventions. Israel is committing war crimes.

@awpetersen5909 If the bombing is indiscriminate, we expect the casualties to correspond to demographics. Gaza demographics: Approximately 42.5% aged 14 or younger (children), approximately 50% aged under 18 (children), approximately 50% aged over 18 (25% male, 25% female) According to demographics: Children + women = 50 + 25 = 75% Reported casualties: "Women and children make up about 70% of those who have been killed in Gaza" Reported casualties correspond to demographics. Hence, the bombing is indiscriminate.

@mbroitt Numbers are provided by health authorities and aid groups. The number might be higher. No one knows how many people are trapped under the rubble.

@cowboyx9380 "According to Euro-Med Monitor, the civilian casualty ratio in Gaza is 9:1 (9 out of 10 deaths in Gaza are civilian deaths)." Is that hard for you to understand?

@cowboyx9380 IDF did not eliminate 8,000 Hamas fighters. Hamas has an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 fighters. Ratio of wounded to killed in conflict has historically averaged around 3:1. According to your claim, Hamas lost 8,000 fighters. Thus, an additional 24,000 wounded (approximately). That means 32,000 killed or wounded (almost all fighters either killed or wounded). If that's the case, why's the IDF having difficulties in Gaza?
